Packtoter's Thru Hiking Planner ebook is free on Amazon this week.
Looks like it's available if you have an Kindle Unlimited membership which is $10 a month. Or get the free trial and cancel before 30 days are up.

HIs Amazon bio mentions a thru hike of the CDT in 1999 and the PCT in 2018-19 but no mention of the AT.

Dickiebird -- welcome to the cafe.

Speaking of books, my wife had gotten the book 2000 Miles Together (I think that was the title) the story of the Crawford family hike of the AT. It's an OK read, but mentions a couple of cafe members by name, internet name.
I don't normally watch youtube hiking videos but I watched all of theirs. I wonder if there is anything new to be found in the book -- they certainly weren't shy about sharing personal info online.

Theirs was not the usual hikers book. It talked as much about their thinking as about their actual experiencrs.

Interesting, considering other people’s remarks were much more disparaging than mine.

      No. nothing new really.
I do like they way they all finished their hike together at tree line since their youngest wasn't legally allowed to go beyond that point.

Did they quote stuff from Whiteblaze or just mention some posters by forum name? If they quoted, it appears to me they'd have to have gotten permission, according to the terms of the WB copyright notice.
