    • I watched a great video last night on Amazon prime. Not sure where else to find it. The title is “Figure It Out On The Hayduke Trail"
      The Hayduke is about 800 miles long. The story said that only around 20 people try to thru hike it a year.

      The post was edited 1 time, last by Dmax ().

    • I thot this was going to be a review of "The Monkeywrench Gang". :)

      The official website probably scares a lot of people away:

      <snip>

      Warning!
      Because of the extremely challenging and dangerous nature of this route, you must be a very experienced
      desert backpacker in peak physical condition before attempting any section of the Hayduke Trail!
      Thru-hikers beware! The Hayduke Trail traverses intensely rugged terrain, is largely off-trail, is not signed
      and ranges in elevation from 1,800 feet in the Grand Canyon to 11,419 atop Mt. Ellen's South Summit!

      Website is worth a look. Descriptions of sections, trail map, and some trail journals (which I haven't looked at yet). Looks like a lot of interesting territory. I wonder difficult resupply would be?

      Thanks for the tip; I'm going to watch the movie.
