Anyone here have experience with Ursack?
For the last 1500 or so miles of the AT I have been using bear boxes, poles, and cables when there, otherwise usually sleeping with my food in my tent. Last one I did was at a really remote campsite by myself in PA where I spent a long time hanging one and it fortunately worked (or at least per the article/comments was "untested").The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I tried to hang one recently and couldn’t throw my bag high enough, it was very embarrassing. Several attempts went in the bushes and one nearly hit me in the head. I slept with my food that night.Lost in the right direction.

I still hang my food 95% of the time. Only had a bear approach me during lunch on the AT. Been bothered by a buck and his two does at night once cause I was stealth camped in the middle of his blueberry patch which probably wasn't too bear smart either."Dazed and Confused"
