I need to watch that one. I have always been a big Bob Marley fan. Went to Jamaica on my honeymoon. They lost my luggage so I bought some shorts and a a couple of Bob Marley tank tops to hold me over till they found it like 3 days later.meat wrote:
"Marley"
Documentary about Bob Marley, very good, best one I've ever seen, lots of footage/music and interviews.
2012
2hrs. 24min.
Only downside is that he didn't get/listen to medical advice. Still might be with us. Sometimes those who are very driven and successful don't pay enough attention to medical issues until it is too late (Steve Jobs is another example).
Back to the documentary, very good and recommend it.

Another great documentary on Netflix is this one. A lot of fun!
Speaking of the Magnificent Seven, why would they try to do a remake of that. They should just leave the classics alone! The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I like the classic movies to. I go to Turner Classic movie channel fairly regularly.
But the version of Beau Geuste (spelling). I like is the 4th or 5th version. it's about the French Foreign Legion in North Africa. The one I like stars Gary Cooper.--

Because the stakes are so high, the studios cannot take chances on unknown storylines or new ideas. Remaking Classic movies that have already proved themselves successful is a safe bet for the studio and building on an existing franchize allows them to leverage familiar storylines. Using familiar characters is a cheaper and safer option than introducing the public to a new creation and spending massive amounts on advertising to publicize it.Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -
