I hear spanish everyday and can understand some of it if they speak slowly. I've had two years of it. I carry a English/Spanish construction dictionary at work."Dazed and Confused"

Are we down to två yet? I'm trying to learn some Swedish this year. But pronouncing two requires saying a t, s, v, and w all at the same time. Ug..

Looks fun, I'd give a lot to go on a two-night hike right now.Lost in the right direction.

I have been thinking of ordering pronunciation guides for some of my ancestor's languages. One person I have talked to said the ones I want to learn are the hardest to learn without being raised hearing them. Comanche and Cherokee. Maybe some Gaelic. To.--

A while back somebody threw hot water out the Thomas Knob Shelter without looking. I should have worn an Asgard.

My plans have now come full circle, back to leaving early April. Probably works out better as this should put me in front of most of the herd."Dazed and Confused"

Over past few summers I have worked myself up from behind to the middle, to where this summer I should be at the front of the bubble. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

The limits at Baxter State Park are putting pressure on hikers to start earlier this year. I expect an earlier NOBO bubble this year, with greater crowding.

I have a ride to Erwin, Tenn. on May 22, will have to see how bad(or good) the herd is at that time. Heading north until I get tired of walking. Will see how Da Wolf is doing in Damascus on my way thru.

Kathy and I hope to get back to Maine this summer to do more of the AT.
Our section hiking has almost always been early in August, but this year we're going to have to try to get out in July as another mechanic on my shift is getting married in August. We'll see.
We won't start our planning for Maine until we hike the Laurel Highlands Trail in April. -

From what I've heard, that should make you feel right at home, like you never even left the city. The post was edited 1 time, last by WanderingStovie ().

I don't live in, or frequent "the city". In fact I avoid it as much as I can.
You might have me mixed up with someone else.
I'm just sayin
