I added the National Forests - Chattahoocee - Oconee park app. I tapped the map icon. And there is a map of the forest.
I was able to zoom in, and find Amicalola SP and follow the AT and BMT fairly easily.
So, I figured I would look for one that covered the Talladega NF.
The only one I could find 'Alabama Great Escapes' app. I started it and it showed a map of Alabama with the forests shown. I tapped the Taladega NF. After several pages, I wind up at a web site. No map. There is on the first page a map pdf for downloading. You go to antoher web site and download a pdf of the NF. Not as useful as the first one. I uninstalled it.
I would feel confidant using the first one, and wonder why I used the second one.
Do you have different experiences ? I really would like to find one for Alabama.
