"Who wanted to kick that field goal"? What he should have asked is "Who did NOT want to kick that field goal?" Then he could have counted it as correct because that could be interpreted as interpreted as "Who is Aaron Rodgers", but since you are only required to give the last name:
Who did NOT want to kick that field goal = Aaron Rodgers = Rogers = Fred Rodgers = correct response! -

Hey all. Been hiking for several years and never ran across this page. I'm Ahab and I have been hiking the AT in sections. I work full time, so time is a premium and I do what I can. trailjournals.com/ahab

Hello everyone, I'm new here and yes, my name is Stinkfinger. That name comes from a radio DJ I used to listen to a lot. No, that wasn't his name but it was just part of a story he told one time and I liked it so that is my alias. Plus it does tell you the type of humor I enjoy!
I'm a teacher so I can only hike the AT in the summer months and I'm planning on doing a long hike starting around June 3, 2024, and going until early to mid-August, so over 60 days. I'm hoping to do at least half(ish) of the AT and then I'd like to come back in the summer of 2025 and finish up the other half(ish). I'm looking for insight on anything that would help. I'll be posting in other threads too. Thanks in advance for all your comments! -
Stinkfinger,
Welcome to the Cafe. I think doing the AT in halves is a great way to do it. Hopefully, you never get tired of the trail that way. I know for myself, I like to take hiking in even smaller bites, two or three weeks at a time.
June will be here before you know it. Are planning on NOBO? Springer to about Harpers Ferry the first year? I think that is what I would shoot for if I was doing it that way.
