It is blended with alpaca...2/3 qiviut, 1/3 alpaca. I did that so there will be enough yarn to make something useful.
Qiviut is $100/oz. and was a really special treat to myself.Lost in the right direction. -

Did you ever read any of the Earth's Children books by Jean Auel? In the Mammoth Hunters, it talks about gathering the underhairs from the muskox and also from the mammoths. -

The martial arts are great to learn and they stick with you. I got an AKA purple belt when I was 16. I still practice some and my reflexes remain very fast. The best thing it taught me was discipline and self control- which I really needed at that time."Dazed and Confused"

but the one thing I took from it was "humility" my sensei had a sign above the door and always said "remember that when you leave here"
he taught us more about not fighting...it left an everlasting impression.
The post was edited 1 time, last by Socks: When you leave Here, not her...although that works too ().

I've started doing a bit of family history research (genealogy) recently. All of my great great grandparents were born in south east Sweden. We hope to visit this spring so I am trying to make some contacts with distant cousins in that area.
-
OMO, I do genealogy. It is a never ending quest. The answer to one question leads to ten more. My favorite part is 'walking in my ancestors footsteps.' Hope you take your trip to Sweden.“Of all sad words of tongue or pen,
