With the mild winter we have been having, I have been able to wear my Altra Lone Peak 3.0 trail runners every day. Just last night I was looking at them and realized for the first time that they have a built in Velcro tab on the heel for securing gaiters. Has anyone seen that on any other shoes?
I guess now I got to go get me some Dirty Girls.

Haven't seen this feature on other shoes, but have used hot melt and a couple of stitches of fishing line to secure a Velcro attachment point.odd man out wrote:

Easily altered the skirt; Cut down a seam, removed a strip, hemmed the seams and sewed back together. Feel foolish for not thinking of this to begin with.TrafficJam wrote:

I bought my daughter the Alexa but I keep forgetting her name and call her Alexis so she gives me the silent treatment. Don't ever call a woman by the wrong name...Danger Will Robinson!
My daughter has now forbidden me to talk to her.
It's really sort of creepy. The kids said they're developing (developed?) a feature where you can do psychotherapy. We played an RPG with her.
It would be even more cool if I could make her sound like James Bond.
Hiking in a rain skirt was awkward when I tried it. What has been your experience?TrafficJam wrote:

I debated buying a Banks Fry-Bake but wasn't sure I'd use it. frybake.com/

I had a Doh! moment a few days ago and will try to alter the ill-fitting skirts.
