When hiking the approach trail yesterday and today, I noticed there is addition parking at Nimblewill Gap which is 5.8 miles from Amicalola and 2.9 miles from Springer. Just another option. The road is a bit rough, so it looked like mostly jeeps and trucks parked out there.
