I enjoy Disturbed's music, but I happen to be a fan of bleeding my ears. As much as I love the original, I think their cover of Sound of Silence beats hell out of it.Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less. - Robert E. Lee

I may have shared this before, but not in this thread. My sweethearts, Della Mae, covering Sone of a Preacher Man. Done at MY request. Yes, you read that right, they covered this at my request. Oddly enough though, I had it in my mind with Celia (purple dress) singing it, as her voice matches the smokey blues feel of the song. I think having Jenni Lyn sing was their way of putting their own stamp on it. I haven't asked them. I should. Regardless of why, I love this.
On their latest album, the ladies also did a phenomenal cover of the Stones' No Expectations. I'll see if I can find it.Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less. - Robert E. Lee -

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Maybe the Orioles will make it to the World Series next year and she can do the National Anthem. Or at least the 7th inning stretch. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I just got a email about an online auction of the Frank Zappa Estate...kinda sad. Frank and Gail had some seriously strange tastes...and I thought I was a collector of things, yikes...
