But, I have had a bit of an unexciting adventure since April 2nd. Some of the folks here already know about it.
April 2nd I was involved in a really bad truck crash involving 3 trucks and six cars in Flomoton AL(about 60 miles north of Mobile). Myself, along with 2 others, were airlifted from the scene. I was off work for nearly a month and a half with lower leg injuries, but now am back on truck. I still suffer from left leg numbness, and occasional pain, but am tolerating it because of me not being able to sit around and do nothing.
I was rear ended by another truck, who shoved me forward into the back of another truck, and underneath his trailer. This photo is the front of my truck, and whats left of it. I was hauling a load of lumber, and all but maybe 10 boards remained on my trailer.
I am thinking about going on a hike from Springer to Troutville/Daleville VA, or vice versa, sometime next year. I am just waiting to see what goes on with this leg, and hopefully by next year its completely healed. So, here I am, still alive and kicking, visiting between here and TP.....
