I'm watching a light snow come down and thinking "what's for lunch!?"
I think I'll skip lunch today. I had a half Polish Kielbasa sausage, with half a green pepper, half an onion, half a potato, all fried together and scrambled in with 4 eggs and 4 pieces of toast with strawberry jam and 2 glasses of milk. Started off spring by spending an hour or so cleaning up the results of the worst thunderstorm/wind I've seen in 9 years working in Iraq. Crazy sh!t last night. Fortunately nothing important was damaged, it just ripped apart the wood/tarp canopy hanging over our fire trucks. But damn. 4x4's split down the center. Sure, I've seen worse from hurricanes in North Cackalacki, but never here. So yeah, yay spring!Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less. - Robert E. Lee

We used to mark the seasons by the equinoxes but somewhere in my youth when I wasn't looking, they changed the season changes to the 1st of the month. So we have been officially in autumn since the 1st March.
Beautiful day of 25 Celsius and partly cloudy today. Violet arrives on Wednesday and the forecast is sunny and 30 (86F). She will arrive at about the hottest part of the day. I will ensure the cover is off the pool.

You should see this place on a new moon high tide. We use mobile walkways to get across the street to the parking lot because the restaurant is surrounded by water.Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

I don't see as many foxes as I use to. I think it is because most the fields around here have either grown to woods or been developed.
