Did a 9.4 mile loop hike in Harriman State park yesterday in perfect conditions. Hard to believe it's still February. I didn't see a single person on the trails yesterday. It must be th e50th time I've done that loop.

In spite of terrible field conditions and a somewhat questionable call at the end, it was a great game.The defending cornerback admitted the holding, but said the refs didn't call it all game. Whoever was in charge of the field ahould be fired. It was a miracle no one was seriously injured.

So I'm bailing out of the Idaho trip with Mountain Mike this summer, due to various reasons. Instead I'll be hiking the Cohos trail, 170 miles that runs from Jefferson NH near Crawford Notch to the Canadian border.

yes,could be knee deep if there was rainfall,but it's not fast moving water, by any means. It's an easy ford, but your feet will definitely get wet.
