Quote from LIhikers: “Since we no longer have a dog, and don't plan on having another any time soon, we're willing to give away a couple of dog packs for free. They are the saddle bag design size for a large dog. If anyone here can use them you can have them for free. We have 2 available. ” I'm sorry to hear this, Paul!

Quote from BillyGr: “That is actually good advice for everyone, given how often they change dramatically even over just a couple days! Not that bad weather necessarily means a trip can't happen, just easier when it isn't an issue. ” We have postponed this walk a few times, mainly 'cause of freezing rain or a polar vortex. We started this 'cause we old guyz had to get out of the house and couldn't wait for spring!

Why......I can't understand this. These 2 kids...they had cell phones....you don't even have to ask it the weather! I'm sorry.....I can't understand this.......First off, they say she was almost finished with the 4Ks........no way, even if she had done half of them, she would know to take more clothing and gear with her. Even if she did half of them she would know to check the weather forecast...............when you drive up thru 93 and all you can see is the ridge that Greenleaf is on and then a quick fleeting glimpse of Lafayette waaaaaay higher.....damn, it scares me and I've been up there twice! And final…
