I was on a mountain tract about a month ago and several of the areas I was in looked like a chanterelle carpet. It was hot hot hot and I was a long way from the truck so I didn't pick any. I did nab a few on a job before that though... 2469-452a4097.jpg This was back in June.

If you're even remotely interested in the game then do yourself a favor and watch touring professionals play at least once. Until you do, you simply cannot fathom how good they truly are.

I bought a sixer of Thomas Creek Coffee Oatmeal Stout. I really enjoyed it, Plus it's brewed nearby so I can swing in and get a growler filled.

My brother was a superintendent at Pinehurst for 8 years. He was on No. 1 & No, 4 for a couple years then moved out to No. 6. I would head up there every chance I could and play from sun up to sun down. I loved No. 2 before the USGA bastardized it for the Open. I haven't played it since they've supposedly taken it back to it's original form.

You are correct. And, like most, you would say "WTF does it matter???", but the lack of relief actually makes the topo work that much more necessary. Drainage is the reason. In most areas a 1% slope is a piece of cake to accomplish and even greater slopes are the norm. In the flat areas ALL of the drainage, sewer, storm, etc., are designed with slopes well under 1% therefore making the topo work critical

There's an Arby's on 17 headed out of Wilmington (south side, I believe). I laid in the field where it now sits hungover as hell and unable to convince myself to function while my buddy did all the work (design topo).

Prepare yourself for a losing streak. I'm a Reds fan and we've been doing it to teams all year. They come into the series with us, kick our asses and leave with an over inflated sense of worth. Then they start facing Major League pitching again and come back to reality. I'm sorry, Max, but that's how we roll.

All of my baseball teams hate me. I think I'm going to give up on the game and take up kicking puppies or punching kittens.

  • Quote from Rasty: “Quote from Foresight: “Speaking of FKT's; I've never understood what takes some people so long to take a dump. My own spawn is a forever dumper, it boggles my mind. Just this morning I set a personal best timed dump at 36.07 seconds. This is from trouser drop to trouser raise, for those wanting a shot at the title. ” You might think about cutting down on the coffee ” I do love my coffee, but it's getting really hot out now so I've switched over to Thomas Creek's Coffee Oatmeal…

The first verified sighting of an elk in South Carolina in 200 years was in 2016. It was a young bull and he took a liking to a populated, high traffic area so they tranq'd him and hauled his butt off to Gitmo North down near Charleston (Some kinda animal preserve...sad). Quote from Astro: “Quote from Dan76: “Always wonder if the Spanish court was harder on him due to his not being a citizen. ” If l was a betting man, yes. ” Me too. Those crazy fools chased my drunk ass one night, but I made it across the border and back into Gibraltar before they could nab me. Come to find out they'd let you wander right on in without a passport, but you damn sure better have one if you plan to wander back out. Unless you're elusive, like myself, lol.
