My orienteering buddy and I went out to SID Richardson Scout Ranch on Lake Bridgeport, Texas, on Monday 2/26/2024. It got up to 93 degrees, on February 26. I only use a hydration bladder if out for a day hike or Orienteering. Orienteering I take 1.5 liters and the pack is very small runners type. Just enough room for keys, wallet, a small knife and some tape and bandages. My old Camelbak Day Pack, the hydration bladder sprung a leak and the pack is worn.
