A place for jokes
PostThere I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig. "Well, whatcha' gonna do about it?" he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears. "Come on, man," the biker says, "I didn't think you'd CRY. I can't stand to see a man crying." "This is the worst day of my life," I said. "I'm a complete failure. I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me. When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been s…

Condolences to you and your family and prayers for your father. If he can make the trip that would be great but if he can't spend whatever time you can with him. I lost my father in 1993 when I still lived in Conn. That was the year I was taking my first fishing trip to MT. My parents lived in FL and had traveled to Conn on their way to Alaska to visit family. They arrived in Conn just a couple of days before I was to fly out. Busy with my last days of work and final packing the plan was to catc…

Quote from max.patch: “Quote from montana mac: “Quickest way to cure a jellyfish sting is to urinate on it ” that's an urban legend (possibly started when r. kelly was walking on the beach and came upon a 13 year old girl who had just been stung ) and popularized on a episode of "friends". i'd suggest anyone going to the beach google first aid for jellyfish stings before leaving home. first thing ya need is salt water -- which should be easy enough to find. ” Thanks for the clarification - here …

Urine is not sterile, even before it comes out of you and gets contaminated by your skin. Bacteria are present at low levels in the urine of healthy people not suffering from a urinary tract infection, Evann Hilt of Loyola University of Chicago reported May 18 at a conference of the American Society for Microbiology.

I have the Executive Membership at Costco, which pays cash back. The main reason is that the one near me (45 mile drive C:\Users\Mac\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image001.png ) has diesel fuel pumps and their prices are normally about $.25 - $.30/gal cheaper then surrounding stations. I also stock up on groceries. I will buy the large packages of meat, etc. and then divide them into single portion size and vacuum seal them for the freezer.

Quote from Dan76: “Suggest acquiring a large section of cardboard (refrigerator box) cut it to size, and use it as a shield when conducting vehicle repairs and PM. Allowing the cardboard to dry prior to storage allows multiple uses. ” Quote from Trillium: “Even better than the cardboard which my Dad used numerous times was one of those creepers that he started using when he got a little older. ” I have used cardboard for many years and always make sure I have a large piece around. Always referre…
