Haven't watched it (just started today) but the movie "A League of Their Own" has been remade as an 8 episode series on Amazon Prime. Rosie O'Donnell has a small role and is as far as I know the only person from the movie to appear. And that's all I know. I liked the movie so I'll be giving this latest version of the Rockford Peaches a look.

Not a fan of retiring numbers, but the NBA has just retired Bill Russells #6 leaguewide a la Jackie Robinson. If you're going to do it can't argue with the decision to make it Russells. Players currently wearing #6 are grandfathered in and are allowed to continue to keep the number as long as they are in the league. Can't piss off Lebron. Would have been nice if they did this while Russell was still alive do he could get the props.

I spent the night at Pinkham Notch (where the staff graciously let me and 1 other thru sleep in empty bunks for no charge) and hiked to Gorham in 2 days, 1 night. After nearly 1,900 miles I was in decent shape.
