Black Diamond Trail Back. They are basic poles, and have served me very well. Beaten to hell and slightly bent but still going strong. I won't replace them until they are snapped or broken somewhere.

Didn't have the time this weekend to tackle any Adirondack High Peaks. So whats the next best thing? Catskill High Peaks! First Halloween night that Im not working in probably 20 years...Working Thanksgiving as usual and Christmas..I might take the Friday off after Thanksgiving though and utilize it hiking. Campmor is my favorite, although the past few times Ive gone there on my way home from work they had nothing I wanted in stock. Sort of frustrating.

Get bigger ankles. I've noticed the same thing about mine as well.
