I still don't see any updates from the media, but according to people on FB he passed away. I'll also pass along for what it's worth that that a couple people have said he had a medical event and passed out which is what led to the fall. I have no idea if this is true or not. I'll just wait until a report that has been verified by a responsible source has been released.

In Pac 12 baseball tourney action... After 8 1/2 innings Oregon State led UCLA 21-12. If ya left to beat traffic you made a mistake. After playing a 5 1/2 hour game in 100 degree heat since it is a double elimination tourney they got to rest 45 minutes and do it all over again. Oregon State won this one. The question the article didn't answer is why do they play their tourney in Scottsdale (suburb of Phoenix) in the summer?
