Inadvertently walked over 5 miles this eve. Volunteered for crowd control during the local Christmas parade, so parked near the assigned intersection. Received a call to escort a float to prevent kids from rushing the float for candy. As I was at the parade end, walked to the start. Once there, was asked to monitor the finish line of the 5k race.
