49 degrees and raining like hell

He seems to think it had something to do with those two guys. He said they were really nasty people and they themselves were complaining about how they have been sick all winter.

DJ sent me a text the other day. Seems like the sickness had nothing to do with drinking the milkshakes. He thinks they got sick from two really nasty guys that were staying at the hostel with them. Nothing sucks like backpacking with the squirts. Hope they all feel better....

I use the REI Traverse made by Komperdale. Aluminum shafts with cork handles and flip locks. Half the price of Leki and Black Diamond. I'm a big guy at 6'6" and 250lbs and they have been holding up great for about 5 years and several hundred miles. Also used for holding up my Contrail.

Spent last week surf fishing in south Florida where the temps were in the mid 80's. This week I'm back home in Atlanta and tonight the windchill is in the upper teens. Ready for this winter to be over...
