Springer fatality?
Foresight - - AT Specific
PostYou'll never know why they do what they do. I was kicked out of sensitivity training pertaining to suicide when I was stationed in CT. I wasn't being an ass, I was being 100% sincere. I called the hussy on it, kicking me out of "sensitivity training" because she didn't agree with my view, and was ultimately allowed to stay after making a stand against her "insensitivity" towards my opinion. I've had 2 friends kill themselves and I couldn't even being to tell you with any certainty WHY they did i…

Powdered Peanut butter
Foresight - - Trail Chefs
PostQuote from Astro: “Quote from Tuckahoe: “Honestly, I just do not understand the fascination with powdered peanut butter products. Peanuts and peanut butter is one of the most all around nutrient complete foods, and it make no sense to squeeze nearly all of those nutrients out... why? ” weight? ” God decided that I was to be big and strong so I honor his decision by carrying regular ol' peanut butter in a plastic jar and regular ol jelly in a squeeze bottle. The last multi night I was on my pack …

Job change

PostNo more third shift. Boss decided to grow a set. It backfired on him. Boss was basically a pacifist that tried to satisfy everyone under him and that doesn't work when 1/2 the crew is worthless and the other half covers their load. I looked after his crew on third shift and saw it all the time as I was the one that was there and got to hear all the complaints. The first shift guy had had enough so he went over the boss' head and complained about him not doing his job. Apparently he thought I was…

ULA mesh repair
PostQuote from PaulMags: “Quote from Foresight: “I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that the mesh and bushwhacking are incompatible. ” Pretty much. Chris from ULA is great with customer service. For a small fee, he can (and has) sewn on the robic fabric to make a a heavier duty pocket. If I did more bushwhacking, as opposed to the more benign off-trail hiking here, I'd seriously consider it. Something to think about anyway for the future. re: Frogg Toggs Even more so! :O ” Thanks! I'm thinking of …

ULA mesh repair
PostQuote from jimmyjam: “If you need a small piece of mesh, PM me your name & mailing info and size of hole to patch, and I'll drop a swatch in the mail to you. ” I appreciate the offer, but it's small enough I'm pretty sure I can put a halt to it growing by putting a dab of superglue on the ends of the rip and stitching it.

ULA mesh repair
PostI have a good bit of skeeter mesh....I like jimmyjams idea best. Well, that and sticking to developed trails and not destroying it in the first place.

ULA mesh repair
PostThat would certainly be easier. I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that the mesh and bushwhacking are incompatible.

ULA mesh repair
PostI tore a hole in the big mesh back pocket on my Ohm a couple weekends back. Has anyone here had to repair that stuff before and if so, any recommendations? I've haven't bothered to even look at it since, but it came across my mind tonight. Right now I'm thinking about super gluing the ends of the tear (half dollar sized) and sewing something inside and out to cover the hole.
