8 Ounce Water
7 Gram Tomato Powder
56 Gram Rice (Real or Instant)
14 Gram Olive Oil
1 Gram Kosher Salt
5 Gram Freeze Dried Chicken
2 Gram Freeze Dried Celery
5 Gram Freeze Dried Bell Pepper (Or Dried)
28 Gram Dried Chorizo Sausage
5 Gram Dehydrated Leek
2 Gram Dehydrated Green Onion
7 Gram Dehydrated Diced Tomato
7 Gram Dehydrated Chopped Onion
7 Gram Creole Seasoning
7 Gram Chicken Stock Powder
1 Gram Black Pepper
Preperation
1) Combine all ingredients except the sausage and olive oil in a zip lock bag
2) Mix all ingredients with water in pot with cold water.
3) Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes (Unless your a heathen that uses instant rice)
4) Let sit for another 10 minutes to allow the rice to fully cook and for the vegetables to fully hydrate.

I know that andouille is traditionally the right sausage to use but I have not seen any one ounce portion packs.

    No need to use instant rice or boil for 10 minutes. I have good luck with basmati rice. You just bring it to a boil, and then let it set in a cozy for 15 to 20 minutes and it cooks fine. Tastes better than plain rice too.

    I cook with all sorts of peppers and powders. I just looked Emerils receipe up. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just about what I would do if I was standing over my stove. Ov planted hots for me this year. Only the Cayennes are doing well, and they are about to ripen. I dry all my peppers now.

      I made emerils mix, subed the 2tbs salt w/ half tbs of cinnamon. Grilled chx, some w/ olive oil, some w/ honey. I liked the honey, the olive oil needed something. It was spicy, good for Ov, Mac & I like it a little warmer.

    My FBC dinner is very similar, but I will use the tuna packs or pepperoni (cold weather)
