Looked at first picture on my phone and thought we need to get you a zoom lens.
Then scrolled down, and that was impressive.

I was sitting at a stoplight today and a Canada Goose standing at the edge of the road came into the street and attacked the Subaru in front of me. There was much hissing and pecking at tires.

I saw two turkey this weekend, one flew out of a bush and another was on the ground close by but it was sunny and I couldn't find him on the phone, got a photo but it's not worth sharing.

I had a goose chase me around a pond one time when I was fishing from the bank. I must have gotten close to it's nest. I've heard of people getting them as pets and using them to be watch dogs."Dazed and Confused"

I can watch this little bear all day. That tree is actually really tall. Go to Glacier NP webcams for another perspective,

he gets active in the eveningLost in the right direction.

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Dang, i didnt check on him between 7 and 8 and it appears he has left the den. Or maybe he’s hunkerd down and sleeping. The last time i checked, he was awake and waving both paws in the air.Lost in the right direction.

Dear could really benefit from this epiphany

Its dumping snow on little bear’s den. He was in there earlier today so i imagine he’s holed up, staying warm and dry.Lost in the right direction.

My little bear has gone offline. Now that he is more active, he's garnering too much attention so park authorites decided to take the camers offline. As much as i hate the thought of random trail cameras invading my privacy, i really enjoyed watching this little guy. I guess thats a conundrum.Lost in the right direction.

We have a Mallard Duck that has been perching on the top of the roof of the house out our back window. Is that seem odd to you? I don't expect to see ducks perching on roof tops, but he has been there every day this week, in exactly the same spot every day.

I know Spring has arrived when the Wood Ducks show up at my house every year. I live on a pond. This year I first saw them perched in the trees outside my bedroom window a week ago, it turns out they lied about Spring arriving, though.
Unfortunately, the hawks seem to have a taste for them. They must be fairly prolific egg layers because enough seem to survive to return every year.“Of all sad words of tongue or pen,

A guy down the lake told me he watched a bald eagle get every one of the wood duck chicks from a house he had as they came out of the nest one by one...said he felt like shooting it but knew that wouldn't work.I may grow old but I'll never grow up.

Not sure I've ever seen a wood duck around our neighborhood. For water fowl it's mostly just Mallards and Canada Geese. Herons too.

Today Kathy and I combined bicycling with wildlife watching.
There's a pair of Bald Eagles that have nested on Long Island.
We rode the about 7 miles down to the water's edge and saw the nest waaay up in a tree with one adult bird sitting on it.
I've heard that 2 chicks have hatched but we were to far away to see them, even with binoculars.
Then the adult bird flew off the nest but stayed local, so we got an airshow, of sorts.
After enjoying the show we got back on our bikes and pedaled up hill for a little more than a mile and then took a different route home.
I found that while going slow the back of the front fender can hit the front of my toe clips.
I guess in in all we rode a somewhere around 15 miles. -
Went to Sam's yesterday to buy stuff for my mail drops. But before that since I was in Little Rock knocked 7 miles out on Arkansas River Trail. Started out with my rain jacket and an umbrella, but about halfway through it cleared up and I caught a picture of these guys off the Big Dam Bridge. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I suppose these qualify for this thread, I was mowing the lawn and had a few wildlife encounters. The stupid bunnies hide in grass under the bushes until the last second and then come out just before becoming a bunny smoothie. I hate it when that happens. Then I get attacked by the Red wing blackbirds who object to me mowing the lawn by the cat tails.finally there was this little frog in the lawn. He was very good about hopping out of the way of the mower, but always hopped about one foot into the long grass, so the next time I came around he was still in the way. This repeated until I chased him the entire length of the yard and he escaped into the short grass on the other side. At least it adds some interest into an otherwise boring job
