The funny thing is that as a kid I was holding my arrows together and shooting same-side as it was more comfortable and faster. After enough people told I was doing it wrong I stupidly listened... my archery skills tanked after that.

I'm impressed. Used to be pretty good with a basic bow as a kid but I really preferred my Diana .177 air rifle.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait.

My grandfather used to make slingshots just like that out of dogwood. I still have one of them. He actually held a patent on one that held the ammo in the handle and had a little trap door on it to drop the ammo into your hand. He was quite the inventor."Dazed and Confused"
