I like Annie Chun's Maifun, brown rice noodles. They have 2 ingredients, brown-rice flour and water. The diameter of the noodle is smaller than ramen so it cooks quicker.

Seems like I remember you hike being more like 3 days sirloin + 1 day ramen.
But that is probably just biased because the days you were posting were the ones you were in town to get your steak.
