HI Everyone!!
I would like to introduce myself; I'm Christina from Team Dakota Joe. I was handpicked by Dakota Joe himself to be his official voice on here while he is hiking the trail. I will maintain contact on here and let you know what’s happening with Dakota Joe as he goes. If you have any questions I will relay them to him and will reply back to you exactly what he says. Also just so you know Murdock will not be posting on this site!
Team Dakota Joe hopes everyone had a Very Merry Christmas!!

Thank you! I'm glad Dakota Joe picked me to be on here and that I can keep everyone updated on his progress! Yes I love puppies, they are very cute. Just wondering how did the whole posting puppy picstures start?

This place is really cool. A good mix of people. A different approach to hiking info. Some jokesters at times but some very serious and knowledgeable diehard hikers. They have something to offer everyone from newbie to seasoned hiker, and they do it in a way to make them feel good about it.Changes Daily→ ♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫ ♪♫♪♫♪♫ ← Don't blame me. Hi Christina, we're glad to have you and Dakota Joe on board! Has he nailed down his start date yet?
I don't remember exactly, but I think the puppy thing started on the other hiking site because of some negativity going on while Murdock was actively posting. Somebody posted a picture of a bunch of cute puppies as a chill-out stress reliever, and everybody just jumped on the band wagon. We are very easily distracted here
All in good fun -

Great photo...we had a dog when the kids were growing up that got wrapped presents just like the kids, it was a gas watching her open them.I may grow old but I'll never grow up. -
Yes the official start date is Jan. 3rd. Also it is true that his hiking partner Protégé has decided not to join him on the hike. Protégé has come to realize that this really isn’t what he wants to do and got caught up in how exciting Dakota Joe made hiking the A.T. sound. He has decided to follow his own dream, which will take him down a completely different path. Protégé has become a good friend to Dakota Joe and me so he will always be part of lives, we support him in his choice and wish him the best! Protégé wants to see Amicalola Fall so that is where the two of them will part ways and head out on two different paths in search of two different dreams!

I can't remember if I saw it on Facebook or on this other obscure website. But after seeing your profile pic I'm pretty sure it was you. Maybe somebody knows where it was and can dig it up. I don't remember seeing any videos except the ones Dakota Joe posted on his first Facebook page. I seem to remember some people sending good luck messages and stuff like that.
Could you get Dakota Joe to post his gear list again? I think some of his original posts were lost when we added the new SocialJom platform. -

On that other website we were waiting for TDJ to post DJ's gear list and it took a little longer than anticipated to get it. So I thought it would be funny to post one for him. Of course it was in the typical satire and I mentioned a illegal green leafy substance. Well, one thing led to another and Gator shut the thread down. From there on after said green leafy substance was referred to as Potato salad.RIAP
