at that price you are not buying a house. you are buying a house and a business. and they've got that business fully valued, if not overvalued.
so they need a buyer who is also looking for a full time job taking care of hikers and bikers. that's probably a pretty small pool.
when shaws came on the market a year or so ago i thot very seriously about it for about 5 minutes. then i realized that was no way i would want to work full time during hiking season given my lifestyle. so i rejected the idea even before it hit me that i'd have to live in maine in the winter. and that ain't never gonna happen.2,000 miler -

she should just get "stupid" over top of the 420. I know that was kinda mean, but face tatts are just dumb in my book. Nothing against tatts as I have a couple, but not on my face."Dazed and Confused"

Well yeah, that's very perceptive of you. But seriously -- one can be fooled by outward appearances. Not in the case of the 4-20 girl, but in general. -

Caveat, I don't like the very extreme...hooks and such.Lost in the right direction. -
I took 30 years to decide to get my first tattoo. Mine are rather I guess plain. Certainly not elaborate. I didn't flinch in pain when they were done. I did see several people who worked themselves up into a 'its gona Huuuurrrrt !' over an hour before they sat in the chair to get their tattoo.--

Don't get me wrong, it is a cool article, but it's somewhat over-complimentary of hikers.
While reading it, I kept thinking of the two guys who yelled, cursed, and nearly got in a fistfight at a shelter, and the couple of guys who have been total jerks, and the girl who was ready to kill her boyfriend...Lost in the right direction. -
