and just in case anyone is curious: The preferred plural form of mango is mangoes although the OED, Oxford American Dictionary of Current English and Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (but not afterthedeadline.com/'s online spell-checker) also accept mangos. As ever in English, there is no hard and fast rule.
my daughter's father-in-law passed in May and on the way to the wake, I inquired as to who would get his guns as I knew he was a big time hunter. I figured he had several, if pressed I might have estimated 6-8. Imagine my surprise when my daughter said he had way over 3 figures of guns. Holy crap. The son-in-law is thinking they need to get them appraised but isn't quite sure how to go about that. Any suggestions?
