Well this is something to celebrate, the Koltrain to Maine has arrived. He summitted Mt. Katahdin today!
Only 100 days after starting from Amicalola Falls! A few years back I did a presentation for the Project Management Institute about Project Management Lessons from the Appalachian Trail. I present it in one of my classes each semester and a lot of students are interested in hiking the AT and come by and talk more about it with me, but he is the first to follow through and thru hike it.

I wish I had thought of this when I was there.
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -

About 9 hours before I fly to Spain. Have to try and sleep now.
For anyone who wants to know how our Camino goes Annie has a journal at trailjournals.com.
I doubt I will be in here much for 2 months so please don't PM me.
Coach and HB will get my FB feeds so they may have more info and may pass some on here.
Regards to all.
Buen Camino.

It's a hoax. She's not dead yet.

I had a college room mate that was the wildest sleepwalker you've ever seen, the guy got up one night, got dressed, hiked to the campus with his books, came home and got back into bed and never knew it. The guy had me scared one night when he was at the window (7th floor) talking about Superman. Something woke he one night moving on my feet, it was Bob slooowly pulling my quilt to the foot of the bed. When he had it off he put it on the foot of his bed and went back to bed. I waited a few minutes for him to settle in and got up to get my quilt. When I reached for it, Bob sprung up in bed with a wild and crazy look on his face looking in all directions saying "what do want, what do want, what do want"...reply, I want my quilt man..."you can't have, can't have it, can't have it"....I'm freezing my A** off man I need my quilt...sh**, take the damn thing then. I asked Bob next morning what was going on last night. Bob was the ranking ROTC student and gung ho, he thought my quilt was a top secret military document and he was protecting it, glad he didn't have a gun under the mattress.I may grow old but I'll never grow up.
