But he only sold certified used cars, so he's trustworthy. That it's his uncle the convicted con man, numbers runner, drug dealer, and identity thief who did the certifying reflects in no way on the salesman's integrity.
My sister had moved two states away by then, so no, the recruiter didn't meet her. Apparently he was meating somebody though, because by the time I graduated boot camp he had been relieved from recruiting.Do your duty in all things. I have, but I never saw the Duane Allman look alike playing the guitar with hula hoops. I guess I will have to look harder next time. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Hi Guys and Gals,
Thought I would jump on to let everyone know I haven't gone on the last hike yet. Been a very busy time catching up with all the things that didn't get done while I was out hiking for two months.
I have been able to keep off all the weight I lost while hiking so I am pretty happy about that. Would be nice to start the next one at this weight.
Thinking about going back and doing another section in the fall. Will have to see if I feel like hiking in September. The fever hasn't come back yet. -

Storm,
Good to hear from you and congratulations on keeping the weight off! I have about two more weeks to try to get close to where I was finished last summer. September should be nice. I did four days in VA last October and I enjoyed it.The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Went on a nice 9 mile hike today at Raven Rock State Park here in North Carolina. I post some pictures later.
Which trails/paths did you do? I'm going to assume the loop plus something if you got in nine miles. I used to go there at least twice a month but haven't gotten back by there in a while. One of the last times I was there, there was still snow on the ground and then the next time the creek was up almost over the loop from the snow melt. I think I have pictures. Parking lot to fish traps, then on to raven rock, then to the group campsite and back up the creek trail. I spent almost the entire summer when I was 14 in that park as a counselor for Wilmington Parks and recreation. Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday either hiking in the park or canoeing on the cape fear river.Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Nice! When I have the opportunity to trail run, I usually go from the parking lot to the rock or just make the circle and go back up to the parking lot. It's a great place for pictures.
