So after 23 straight wins in Jeopardy, Mattes Roach loses by $1 after missing the Final Jeopardy question. The question was about the Atlanta airport that anyone who lives here should know.

I follow a couple Jeopardy groups on FB. She was a great player, no doubt, but i never thought she was in the same league as Amy or Matt. But this season we've had three of the top five players all time, statistically speaking, so the next Tournament of Champions will be fun.

very bad idea. But photo's can be deceptive. That forced-perceptive/2-D stuff. The already fallen tree seems to be lodged on the away side of a tree and the tent is on the near side. If that is true, and then if the tree gets loose and continues to fall, well good luck getting the far side tent pegs out from under the fallen tree! And lets not mentioned the deposit in the clothes and sleeping bag.

Also didn't make the connection. Family approached the marathon organization to ask for an exception to the 18-year age requirement. Committee initially said no. Dad emphasized that they were going to run the course as bandits if they couldn't get a bib. Special exception was made for safety reasons. News gets out and committee realizes that they made a mistake.

I’ve done the Flying Pig 1/2 marathon and peed blood afterwards…thought it was brutal but it was really hot that day.

I think they are good parents in sum total. The kids seem wonderful from everything I have seen.

I consider pepe a PED.It helps the miles go faster. I don't smoke a lot during the day, maybe a few times.mostly morning and night.I brought waay too much with me for the BMT. Gave some of it away and threw away the rest, as i didn't want to risk flying with it.IMScotty wrote:

After reading the FHT thread I had a flashback to taking pictures with a crappy 110 camera, waiting weeks until you took 24 shots, paying to get them developed, and then liking maybe a handful of the pictures. And now in the middle of the woods we take a picture and immediately share it to the world.
