Just more evidence of that all joy is being sucked out of life. The instructions on the bag of Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies says "Caution - Do not eat raw cookie dough."
-
The way I've been getting some joy is Dog Twitter and also the videos that my daughter sends of Bella being ferocious with the octopus toy that I gave her for Christmas. When my daughter visited in February, she brought the octopus and I repaired it. When she sent a new video this week, she said she doesn't think that the octopus is going to survive the Stay At Home. Well at least Bella is enjoying flinging it from side to side and chewing on the head and beeping the beeper in its head.
And I'm not concerned if the octopus is totally destroyed because I bought a second one at the after Christmas sale and will have it for Bella next Christmas, God willing and the creek don't rise. -

If ya got time on your hands -- why not edit your wife into every scene of the Cheers opening?
Here's the TV show on top and the edit on the bottom. To see just the edit scroll up to his previous post.

I won't be watching, but I'll state up front that if Secretariat doesn't win it's because a programmer got cutesy with the data.

These statues depict a scene from the beloved children's book "Make Way for Ducklings;" Boston Public Gardens.
Edward Everett Hale statue, in the Boston Public Gardens.
At the 'Frog Pond;' Boston Common.
And one last photo. I will not identify this because everyone in Boston knows the moment captured here, but does the rest of the country? Let me know.“Of all sad words of tongue or pen,
the saddest are these, 'It might have been.”

Brought the game to my Neighborhood. Littlest guy in the hood, last one picked for every sport. We all started playing at our pond in 1970.......we all put those things on and some how or another I got them to work.......I ended up playing in HS, USMC and I coached for 25 years and Reffed for 35!
I miss it............I just can't watch it on TV!!!!!Cheesecake> Ramen -
I didn't know -- but google told me the answer.
I probably should have known as that it the era when I actually watched an occasional game on TV. Being from South Florida one of the teams was almost always the Rangers.
Hockey (to me) is lousy on TV but a good game to see in person.2,000 miler -

I believe he was on the cover of a scholastic book I bought back in elementry school.
Back in the 60-70s hockey was not that big in South Florida. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I thot of this scene as I was eating my open face PBJ with a fork at lunch. (Conserves bread and open face PBJ ends up on your fingers).
Local BBQ place reopened for table service. The owner was interviewed and said he saw something this week he had never seen before -- people eating ribs with a knife and fork. It's the new normal.2,000 miler -
