I went climbing last night for the first time in a month and man are my arms sore...what's your excuse?Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I may grow old but I'll never grow up. -
After years and years without an accident, I've had my second one in three years. I was driving on the interstate when the car hydroplaned (I wasn't speeding!), hit the back wheel of a semi, spun around for a while, and ended in the median, stopped by the tall weeds.
Stunned, surprised, and elated that I came out of that unscathed except for a headache. Guess the spinning around scrambled my brain.

Once a guy ran me off the road (that is to say I decided taking my chances off toad was better than than hitting this a-hole head on as he sped to work one morning passing a string of cars on a hill in the fog)...went off road and hit a pole. His wife was in a separate car in the string of cars he was passing...so likely racing and showing off for her. When I woke up I heard a woman say, "that's my husband, he's coming back" all the cars he passed stopped to see if I was dead and offered assistance, giving me bursiness cards and numbers. That guy got a careless driving ticket. What a racket.
Second time was completely my fault, I was driving to fast on a freshly rain on road around a gradual/ but not to gradual turn, I slid and hit a curb flipped on my side then slid some more and ended up in a judges front yard, the cab of me pick up was about two feet shy of a 3 foot dia. oak tree. I ended up crawling outta the truck like a submarine port hole.
Why am I here? -

Glad to hear it wasn't too bad.
I hope you're still feeling OK
I know there can be a delay before the aches and pains set in
Now the real headache will begin, dealing with insurance companies and getting your car repaired or replaced -

So TJ, how is the car? Do you need a new one?
Aches and pains started today but I'm not complaining...happy to be alive.
The worst part is that I was standing in the weeds talking to the leo when my feet and lower legs start burning. I was standing on an ant hill and have a ton of bites. They started itching and swelling today.Lost in the right direction. -

How many miles on the tires?
I had some hydroplaning issues with the Highlander on Bridgestone tires. Solved that with Goodyear's.
Really love how the Michelins are handling rain on the Camry. But, they are done at 50k miles. I was getting 65k out of the Goodyear's and that was on a big SUV...go figure...
If they were factory tires, beware that those aren't the same as the same model you buy retail. Check the Treadwear Grade and Traction and Temperature ratings on the sidewall of the tire. Always buy an all-season tire. Don't wait to replace the tire until the wear bar is even with the tread...just sayin...
Sorry you crashed. Damn glad it was in the median and you didn't cross-over into oncoming. Damn glad it wasn't a roll-over. -
