I'm off Christmas Eve. I want to make enchiladas but my daughter and her boyfriend will probably cook. They're good cooks. I'll be in charge of opening the wine.
Good food? wine? what time should we be there? -

The dislike on your post is me Coach. No I don't have a taste for seafood. But I did eat pulpo, pippies, peppers and pony while in Spain. Only the horse will be considered for a repeat.

I guess that makes him a real man, or a real hiker. Or perhaps just real crazy.
Oh well, I am sure he will have a great time, but my south FL bones would prefer a warmer climate. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

The past month has been such a whirlwind that we haven't actually planned anything yet. I suppose we'll do some kind of small meal here, just the two of us or maybe invite some of the young, single, guys over if they aren't making the journey to wherever home is for them.“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” - T. We'll be having my daughter and her boy friend over for dinner along with poodle's son and his son. Have a huge dinner along with some wine and nod off on the sofa afterwards. Hopefully I'll be able to sneak off to the SNP or the Humpback area and do a little backpacking. Oh we'll do a tacky light tour too."Dazed and Confused"

I still remember how Miami got robbed against them in OT for a National Championship. Seems like yesterday, but it has probably been at least 10 years now.The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Man, I miss those stores... When I lived in FLA. there was one within walkin' distance of my Casa in Hunters Creek... It ain't just for Christmas, brother ...1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish... -

I was going to fix that for you, but nuthun' to fix1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish... -
There is a spiral sliced ham shortage going on right now. The hog industry had a virus that killed lots of piglets so they had less animals to raise. The solution was to let the pigs get bigger which worked for overall production goals.
The problem was the spiral slicing machines don't fit these larger hogs.Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Last year I ate chocolate-covered Fruit Cake from Holy Cross Abbey in VA. It was delicious. They're not selling it online this year because they're renovating the bakery. I'll have to wait until next year.Lost in the right direction.

It's been confirmed that I don't have to work Christmass, but we still don't have any plans other than a church service at 10AM.
There's a good chance that we'll go either to Harriman or northern NJ for the Friday and Saturday following Christmass.
I'm looking forward to that as can't remember our last night in a tent. -
I'm leaving in the morning (woohoo it's after midnight, I can't sleep, and have the alarm set for 4:30) for Ohio, to visit family and friends there.
