the 46 cent a can costco brand brand beer is a real steal of a deal. it tastes like it costs at least 75 cents.

I tried an apple beer and an IPA Rebel beer, the first apple beer I didn't like that well but discovered the next few were pretty good. My sister-in-law brought the Rebel beer (damned Ole Miss fan), I just can't learn to like IPA, the second one was worse than the first, it's not supposed to work that way.

Has anyone tried the alcoholic root beers? I know they aren't really "beer". They seem to be the current drink of choice for 90% of the people I see walking out of stores with adult beverages here. My husband and I got a six pack of the Coney Island brand and they were ok. I mean, it basically, mostly tasted like root beer.“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” - T. S. Eliot

I believe the new gluten free fad has more to do with GMO & how things are harvested & processed these days. It was on the internet that they spray field with roundup to kill the plants a few dys before harvest to make it easier on conbines. It's on the net so must be true! On the other hand why do we allow so many chemicals that other countries have banned? At the same time so many people have become "gluten intooerant" ? For centuries people lived on grain based diet. I think part of it may be barin based by people following a fad & some chemicals used in current process these days.

celiac disease is not really an allergy like peanuts. It is an autoimmune disease where glutten triggers your immune system to attack your own body. Unless you have this condition there is no reason to avoid gluten.

Hot - about 95 today.

Got sick of my son's Mexican sh#t beer.
Bought some dark ale.
Currently about 3 beers over the most I have drunk in a day since the AT.
Been playing country music from the cafe jukebox.

Almost time to sneak away from work for a cold one- after all it is beerthirty. Hard for us not to do it here on a Friday as there is a bar across the street from our office and two more down the block."Dazed and Confused"
