    • North Texas. Our summer moved in on us a month early (May). I hiked 8 miles on Sunday July 1. I started around 9:30 and it was already 85. I finished at 12:15. It was 91 with a "real feel" of 101.

it hit 101 later that day.....it did it again today, July 2, 2018. I think the "real feel" was like 107.
Good chance North TX will be above our average number of 100 degree days.

Look at the bright (cooler) side. It is probably hotter and more humid in Houston. :D

Checking the long range forecast for the Hotter n Hell 100 in Wichita Falls in August, appears the riders will experience the usual weather...hot and hotter.

      Lest we forget.....

Most of Texas, OK, Arkansas, NM are now getting hammered (Mid July, 2018). 108 yesterday in DFW. It was still around 100 at 9 PM when I left the gym. Want to know how to instantly dry your sweaty clothes after a workout? Walk outside.....
By Saturday and Sunday, they are talking 110 actual temp here. Predicting about 4 straight days of record setting heat.

rhjanes, please note that like is for the quality of the information, not the actual message. Going to be sitting through some hot ball games this weekend. But at least I am just sitting and not actually having to perform on the field to impress college coaches. :)
