Got 3 inches of snow and all the schools are cancelled. Slept in and them drove into work, much rather walk around I'm circles in my office building than outside in 9* with a wind chill "real feel" of -4.The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

from todays paper:
If the snow does come, it is most likely to begin between 6 and 9 p.m., but it could start as early as 2 p.m., Thiem said.

It was a balmy 7* last night in Gadsen, AL. An early trip to the mail box made me recall a 9* night with 25-30 MPH winds in the shelter south of Damascus, I'm here to tell I got cold, had trouble breathing, I could inhale but for some reason had trouble exhaling, needless to say there was no sleep to be had.I may grow old but I'll never grow up.

Need to get the controls to the heated tiles in our bathroom fixed. We are over the crawlspace and the tub's hot water was frozen. Wife didn't like having to take a shower. Fortunately thawed now, and no damage. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I promised a friend I'd help him fix his snow thrower today so I guess my hands are gonna hurt later as we'll be working outdoors.

Still awaiting winter’s arrival. Might receive a trace of snow over the weekend about 1K’ higher. Sympathetic towards the folks visiting Sundance expecting to ski.
