At least 6" of snow last night. Just finished shoveling back porch and front stairs. Had my son's do the driveway in front of the garage. Buying a second shovel was a wise investment. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Having sons for shovelling purposes was also a wise investment...for a healthy back.

Yes Jack, that shovel thing in the wheelbarrow is what we call a snow shovel. You may notice also a fresh 6" to 8" of the white stuff in our driveway. I'm done.....2.5 hours.........and I'm DONECheesecake> Ramen -

Just watching a news report on your weather.
They are describing it as the "last hurrah" of a very cold winter.
Don't forget to turn your clock forward on Saturday night or you won't have time to shovel out on Sunday morning.

We should be done, but it is suppose to get down to 10 tonite. At 8" the fish car kinda floats on top, Ov's rides a little higher. Right now it is fresh and compacts, if it freezes crusty tonite, I might get hung up near that low tree in the middle of the drive. So, out I went.Cheesecake> Ramen

Wishful forecasting........this snow on the ground will be here for a while, and we get snow in April quite often. I should have bulbs coming up in the back yard!Cheesecake> Ramen -
I gotta tell ya coach, I loved Montana but I sure hated shoveling snow. Shovel you way out and shovel your way in all in the same day got old. nothing beats Montana in the springtime. When I go back it will be at that time.Changes Daily→ ♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫ ♪♫♪♫♪♫ ← Don't blame me. It's That Lonesome Guitar.

We're in the middle of about 10 days of blue sky with maximums 31 to 33 celsius and minimums 17 to 20. that's about 65 to 92 for those of you that don't have conversions handy.
Should start to get some rain and cooler temps after that.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait. -

It's warming up here after today.
I am so tired of the cold and shoveling snow and chipping ice/frost off the car. Plus our little dog gets confused when it snows and does not know where to go to the bathroom because the yard is covered and she can't smell her "spot". So every time it snows not only do I have to clean off the walks, steps, stoop, driveway and car: I have to clear her off a 10 ft x 10 ft "spot" and a trail to it so she can do her "business.""Dazed and Confused"
