So I am way out on a limb here, I was suggesting to a group of dignified enthusiastic meat eaters of making a batch of Jerky with Hoisin Sauce and Sriracha sauce
Peking-style Hoisin sauce ingredients include starches such as sweet potato, wheat or rice, and water, sugar, soybeans, sesame seeds, white distilled vinegar, salt, garlic, red chili peppers it is a thick mild flavor that is frequently inside the Spring rolls.
So I was thinking that I would cut it and add more vinigar and add a tablespoon of Sriracha per pound.
It would yield a pleasant mild flavor garlic Jerky with a little heat....and some fresh crack pepper to boot...
Just looking for thoughts to bounce off of...
