Hey Grinder - do you like Little Debbie's cookies? What about Wendy's cookies?
I've never had a woman named Debbie or Wendy make me cookies.
I've had a windy woman make me cookies...does that count?I may grow old but I'll never grow up. -

I'll bet that kitchen smelled just wonderful...Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less. - Robert E. Lee -

No, she wears an Egyptian ring, sparkles before she speaks. She's a hypnotist collector. You are a walking antique.

I went up to the Whites for the tail end of one. I had to postpone vacation a few times due to storm & being need at work since I did property management on a bunch of waterfront properties on Nantucket Island. When a hurricane shifted tracks & was going to miss the Island but hit the Whites I told my boss "I'm out of here!" He said I could reschedule again, but I decided I had postponed enough. I reached Franconia notch late in the day & had to race up the mountain to get set up before dark. The AMC even pulled the caretakers out of the site for the storm so I had it to myself. I did proper preperations for the storm. I packed an extra book. When the caretaker returned after it blew over & was shocked to see me there. He asked what I was doing there? Camping, what did ya think I was doing was my reply. -
I've also been out when tornadoes where touching down within 5 miles of the shelter I was at, slept thru an eathquake in So Cal. Camped where you could smell the smoke from a forest fire, Had to wade out out of Ehan Pond since the pond had risin over 2' & then hike the flooded trail covered in over a foot of water. On the plus side, never had to deal with volcanoes erupting yet even through the Cascades.

Someone put a garbage bag on that sucker.
IMO, the 500th thread ought to be about the 499 before it.
