I'm just finishing a bottle of Angel's Envy - the final aging is in a port wine cask. Good stuff. Heading to my favorite booze store in Maryland this weekend to find my next favorite bourbon.
Knob Creek is my motorcycle rally bourbon. The bottle just seems to pack well in the panniers and it's perfect for passing around the campfire.

Funny that you should mention Rebel Yell. One of my neighbors has a BBQ twice a year and buys a bottle of the other Rebel Yell and we all do shots of it because he likes to hear my "Rebel Yell"- I have a long tradition of letting out a seriously good "Rebel Yell" holler whenever I do shot of good whiskey. I keep telling him I like Wild Turkey. but he doesn't listen.

The Rebel Yell whiskey(above) really isn't very good. My rebel yell is very good.

Santa just dropped this off. Mmmm I hear a Rebel Yell in my future. I might even have to put this in a bounce box this spring.

I tried Buffalo Trace bourbon and surprisingly, I really liked it. It wasn't sweet and it had a bit of a bite, but it's simplicity was appreciated.
Of course, my review is bullsh!t. The description by the distillery says, "The taste is rich and complex, with hints of vanilla, toffee and candied fruit. The smooth finish lingers on the palate."

I might drink a wine that said this but I'd never try a whisky with a pansy description like that.
