The problem with tebow is he sucks.
He won and was successful every time he was given an opportunity. He reminds me a lot of Gary Carter. Who knows how many more World Series the Mets might have won if they had hired him for the job he deserved instead of going down the PC route with Willie Randolph and Jerry Manuel.
2011 he went to the playoffs on a 9-9 record. not such a hands down winner in my book.
Tebow was 8 - 5 that year.Non hikers are about a psi shy of a legal ball. -

You are not going to convince me that a prototypical quarterback that loses is better than a unorthodox quarterback that wins.
oh please, any way you look at it, you cannot call him a winner any more than mark sanchez. one average season does not a winner make.its all good -

I actually liked Mark Sanchez. I followed him at USC. He had a lot of promise until Rex ruined him. He looked terrified out there at the end.

I have the flip top for my Sawyer system, but I am yet to settle on a good way the attach them to my shoulder straps. I like the ridge on the Zero Water bottles. I like the wide mouth of the Zero Water bottles. Smart Water bottle is what most people use. They are tough and lighter. I am not ready to convert. I am trying to resolve the short comings so I can.Non hikers are about a psi shy of a legal ball. -
i use the smart water bottle cuz its the only one i can reach from my side pocket on my pack.the narrow bottle has a smaller profile than a gatorade or equivalent.
the downside is i always feel like a dumbass for buying smartwater.
i now call then dumbass bottles.its all good -

The 1 liter smart water bottles are perfect for my GRush 14 day pack.
I use a 1 liter gatorade and a 20 ounce gatorade bottle when backpacking. I like the bigger opening because I don't use a filter and the smart water bottle is too small an opening for me.Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
Dr. Seuss -
I like the bigger opening because it matches my mouth size better.
Seriously though, I am a guzzler. When I pull out a bottle, the 20 ounces is gone in about 2 seconds. I don't like being rationed by a small opening when I am thirsty.Non hikers are about a psi shy of a legal ball. -

what ruined him was bringing in tebow.worst personnel move in jet history.they brought him in to run the wildcat, never ran the wildcat, and mark was threatened by the tebow press nonsense the entire season.not to mention marty schottenheimer had to be one of the worst offensive coordinators the jets have had.its all good -

Agreed. I like Rex's style. But I think he ruins QBs He perpetuated that Tebow intimidation with Sanchez and he doesn't do much for Genos psyche either
Perhaps he should have just played Tebow and let him win like he had everywhere else. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Fortunately (with respect to anything football related) I don't give a f*ck. Never understood the appeal of football, baseball, hockey or soccer. Never understood the appeal of sitting in the frigid cold (or blazing sun) watching a bunch of seriously overpaid jocks running around. Got better ways to waste my time, like frequent stupid posts on hiking blogs.

Do you think I was praising this guy? I dare say I watch less football that most on this site. I hardly even watch TV. My TV gets 1 channel most of the time and 2 channels some of the time.
That is 1.5 more channels than we get at our house. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

But posting on hiking blogs is a lot cheaper than going to professional or collegiate sporting events. And sometimes you learn some really neat stuff. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

My biggest problem with professional sports is how much some of the players get paid. Yet those who educate our children, who are responsible for our safety and security, and who work with the homeless and addicted are often barely making a living. It just doesn't seem right.
Okay, I'll jump off my soapbox now.Lost in the right direction. -
Well, I love football, maybe cause I played as a kid...but just always watched it as a kid with my pop, fond memory's. Baseball I just can't watch, to slow for me...but I watch sometimes. Goin to a Rutgers game tomorrow, there just joined the "Big Ten" and are doing pretty darn good this year. Rutgers was the first colleGe to play football in America, back in like 1893 or somethin, it's there claim to fame.
