A few days later I went for an annual visit to the doctor and she told me to give up pork....advice is to be given, not taken.
I made a deal with my doctor. On a day that I spend backpacking, I can eat whatever I please. It helps get me out there.
I have this fantasy of stopping at a convenience store mid hike, eating a whole bag of potato chips, and not feeling guilty about it. I don't care what the Dr. thinks..
I don't feel guilty, like the kind with extra salt, wash them down with a glass of Jim Beam. Three things just go good with bourbon...salty potato chips, a good cigar, and chocolate...and I don't normally even like chocolate.
I may grow old but I'll never grow up.
