      I believe this is a bad question. Benton MacKaye originally wanted it to be Mt Washington, but since Myron Avery was from Maine he went with Mt Katahdin.

      So how do they comeup with Sugarloaf? I assume because the placque of where the final connection of the AT was completed is near there.

      I don't agree, but it is their game, so I go with what they want so I don't miss it anymore. :rolleyes:
