1) Rain gear keeps you warm in the rain
2) Getting cold is not a big problem when your prepared and wearing layers

OK - But I have it... and I am happy and lets set the bar of expectations.

Serious the plastic poncho isnt wind resistant but is lighter and works.

I have been happy with mine. Had it for about a year now and it is a a whole lot better than what I was wearing when I had 3 straight weeks of rain back in the summer of 2013.
