I guess it depends how you define quality. It probably is great at meeting the parameters it was designed for. But in defense of the weight he said that you can't find a tent this durable for this price. But that doesn't really address the weight issue though does it. I think for lightweight backpackers, being lightweight is design priority. Also it seemed like a real bear to pitch.

Yea I agree and the really thought out moderator said suck it up. OK it can be up to a pound more, but the majority of the $300 UL tents might not last a year, this one has figured it out and you can sleep during the day... there was so many features but the biggest was staying dry in my book!Be wise enough to walk away from the nonsense around you!

When my nephew got out, he came back with this hoop thing that sprang open.....boing!!! It was cool, it was heavy.......it was Military Grade..........................
I was in the Military....... ah, No.
...........The owner of Lightheart Gear was Air Force, and I have one of her tents, and it is pretty sweet and weighs just over 2 lbs.Cheesecake> Ramen -
