This Saturday (yesterday) I went to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. I parked at the Visitor Center and took the Ouachita Trail to the East Summit Trail. After lunch at the summit I went down the West Summit Trail, around the Base Trail and back. While the West has lots of rock stairs, the East is more of a rock scramble. The map sign is of the easier West side.

The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

    • As I made it to the summit I guess I was so happy to be there that I lost focus and scraped my left leg against the last rock I went over. So now I had a matching scrape for the previous week on my right leg.
